We all grope in the dark until we figure out who we really are and as we fumble and stagger through it, we learn, and we grow. The album (EP) "Vibes before TESLIM" is a musical memoir. It tells a tale of the different paths Vector have trod before he found himself. With this body of work, he intends to live true to his name – Vector. With words, he transmits inspiration to those on the journeyof self-discovery and self-acceptance.
There are 8 different narrative in this album and each one has a different theme and is represented with different a color. Oja is a story of drugs and friends and is represented with the color green which means youth, vigor, inexperience and envy. Mind games is all about fake hype and exposure and its theme color is gold.Vectors vibe chronicles his experience and thoughts about women and sex and there's no other color that can describe that passionate topic but the color red. Your Biology Is Sending You to Hell, highlights his relationship with pain, friendship and depression; as it was a very dark time in his life, and it had to be represented by the color black. He did an EDM remix of Adurah on the EP which was done by YinxDjinx a Nigerian DJ/ Producer based in London, it's the tale of hope and he chose the color purple because of its spiritual undertone.
A man with a gun is his thought about time, this one has the color grey. Just incase is a recantation of different fun times and he gave it the color yellow. Cheesy right? Fearless talks about his fears, how he bowed to them and confronted them and for this he chose the color blue because he faced his fears and found peace.
The period we spend winging it as we try to figure us out may seem daunting, and it is possible to get to a point where we feel like we are out of steam and can no longer go on but if you continue to fight in-spite of it all , you'll get to the other side.
